John Foxx

John Foxx takes the programming reigns at Audacy country “The Bull 100.3” KILT-FM Houston, where he is named Brand Manager. Foxx, who serves as Regional VP of Country Music Programming for the company, most recently handled day-to-day programming at the former WNSH New York, which flipped to classic hip-hop/R&B as “94.7 The Block” WXBX in October 2021.

“100.3 The Bull embodies the spirit of not only the Houston community but country music, and we’re delighted to have a seasoned pro like John Foxx take over the reins,” Senior VP/Market Manager Sarah Frazier said in a release. “John’s experience and relationships inside this format makes him a perfect fit for us, and we look forward to him ushering in the next chapter of KILT… just in time for the ‘Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.’”

KILT has been without an in-house programmer since the exit of Chris Huff in September 2020, when the company implemented structural changes at its country and modern rock stations.

Foxx joined the company in February 2009, when Audacy acquired WNSH from Cumulus Media in a six-station, multi-market swap. He served as PD of WNSH since January 2016. While with Cumulus Media, Foxx also served as PD and afternoon host at former hot AC WPLJ (95.5).

“I'm really excited to partner with Sarah Frazier and join the incredible team at 100.3 The Bull,” Foxx added. “This is one of the best times in Texas as we celebrate the 90th anniversary of the ‘Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’ on KILT next month. Country music is my love… it's that simple.”
