Joe Haydel, Martin McDaniel and Jessie Pitts are the newest additions to the Wide Open Music Publishing team. Songwriters Haydel and McDaniel join the publisher’s roster while Pitts, a former intern and top 12 finalist on NBC’s “The Voice” in 2015, has been named Catalog Manager/Creative Assistant.
“We’re adding three rock stars to our already incredible team,” Wide Open Music Publishing VP/GM Victoria Goodvin said in a release.
Singer-songwriter Haydel released his self-titled debut EP in 2019. He landed his first outside cut earlier this year with “Even Now,” recorded by Chase Bryant.
McDaniel opened for Alan Jackson in 2019. His song, “Loving Me Lonely” from 2018 EP “Just the Beginning,” was featured on Spotify’s “New Boots” playlist.
Pitts, a former Wide Open Music Publishing intern in 2020, graduated from Belmont University in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
Wide Open Music Publishing launched in 2013. It was acquired by Endurance Music Group in 2020 and relaunched late last year with Goodvin. The company’s songwriting roster includes Chris Bandi, George Birge and Maddie Larkin.
